I agree with this in the sense that I doubt we would be able to make much of a dent into Google. If they were to somehow fall, I think it would most likely be them falling apart from the inside due to incompetency, along with other interconnected factors, and even then it would probably take a couple of years at least. I mean, go ahead boycotting and sabotaging them if you want, but I don't think it'll make much of a difference.

To really take on a behemoth like Google the usual hacktivist ways are not going to work. They have more well payed smart people and will come up with something to counteract this. Going after the ad money with Ad Nauseam is good but just a drop in the ocean.

But let me tell you about two things that would be effective. First is their public image. They have taken pride in their exceptionalism and being the best tech company and so on. Don't be evil and other carefully cultivated PR shit. This can be shown to be lies and tricks with some good memes. We can expose them for being the piss stain of the corporate world.

The second thing is that they pay almost no tax. They funnel the money through Ireland into Bermuda and then launder it back into US. France and Spain raided their offices last year with a suspicion of 1+ Billion tax fraud. Given their way of doing things it is reasonable to assume that they have and actively are committing tax fraud and money laundering in the US. So all you need to do is to get someone from the DOJ to ask the french prosecutors for some copies of documents they seized and build it from there. A RICO probe would be devastating. Because we are probably talking about billions and billions of dollars in tax fraud. This would lead to a breakup of the company. So if someone can convince DOJ to actually do something that would be a great start.
