Could just get your degree and while you're getting it join a ROTC program, get in as an officer and get paid too much money.

Depends on what you like. I started in the guard then went active duty in the army and enjoy my life.

Pick a job that interests you and just do it but if you can swallow your pride go coast guard. Just bounce around coastal cities in America. My friend has been in Boston, NO, Biloxi, and some where in cali.

Not true. I joined at 18 yo weighing 135.

Now I have the tower of power. Although none of it would've been possible if not for my squad leader on my first deployment in Iraq. Forced us to goto the gym 2 hours everyday.
