Forget Socialism. The classic discredited political ideology is Fascism.
When Mussolini died, he was so hated that they hung his body from the heels so people couid piss in his mouth.
Hitler, through his brutal invasions and genocides (completely consistent with Fascist ideology), actually LOST territory for Germany and subjected millions of Germans to foreign occupation.
Mussolini and Hitler ended up as two of the most hated people of the 20th century.
Fascist rump regimes in Spain, Chile and Argentina went on to become hated almost as much as Mussolini and Hitler.
Following the ideology of these clowns is one of the most stupid things you could possibly do. It's been totally discredited.
