I've decided I'm finally sick and tired of the shit that google is pulling, so I want to switch browsers and search engines. What are some good, non-jewed (or even just less jewed) alternatives?

Yeah same, DuckDuck go has improved tremendously for web searches. For images Bing is pretty good.
>>

Brave was made by the Firefox creator who was fired from Firefox for being against gay marriage.

Of course, I still use Firefox since it's the only browser I'm used to.

Why don't you all use Firefox?

is there a way to use something like 4chan x for those? I've been using it for as long as I remember and i can barely use the site without it.

Microsoft already has full access to my backdoors, may as well get the reach around
>>
Doesnt exist, they all sell your search histories and information. Only way to get by is act normal on provider and do everything else via VPN if you live in a cucked country.
>>
By abandoning Google, the right wing would lose the ability to affect its search algorithms.
>>
Startpage, Yandex, or Yahoo for search engines. Startpage is just google minus the constant tracking and targeted ads.

Firefox or Pale Moon for browsers- the latter is a stripped down, marginally faster Firefox.
>>
>>136669551
and would also damage their buisness, dumb cunt
>>
>>136668760

Jeez, suggestions in here are shit.

Browser: Brave if you are casual. Trick out a Firefox with addons if not. I use both, but focus on Brave because I am thinking of contributing to the source.

Search engine: ecosia. It runs on bing, so the results are good with the benefit that you are basically funding a massive forest growth.

Bitchute is the only real alternative to youtube since all the other ones are just as cucked.

Outlook.com is a better e-mail provider than Gmail these days.
>>
>>136669638
ty, I was already considering brave, ill go for it. I'll keep using youtube though, at least for now. At least it's the least profitable google owned buisness
>>
>>136669774

If you use brave, you actually end up costing google money if you browse youtube.

It is really easy to turn the ad-blocking off on brave. I turn it off for sites I support. Otherwise you are hurting the sites you like. So keep that in mind.

Here is a list of some search engines that i know
Searx.me
Ixquick
Startpage
DuckDuckGo

If you want to get out of the botnet here is a good list of browsers
>Iridium
(based on chromium but without google bullshit)
>IceCat
(Based on Firefox ESR deeply configured to avoid fingerprinting)
>Normal Firefox
(you can tweak it enough)
>Nightly Firefox
(the version 57 is pretty god but they in the future are going to drop some addons support)
>Palemoon
(Very lightweight browser and very usable, has some problems with some addons but is compatible with ad nauseam)
>Brave
(Very good but they inject other ads instead and no addons)

I do not recommend vivaldi because they have the google bullshit inside

I tried Brave in the past and didn't care too much for it. I downlaoded it last night gonna give it another try. I've used Opera and Vivaldi and I liked them both, especially Vivaldi. Fo email Protonmail is the best! Protonmail.com For social media and video check out Minds.com or if you want to go decentralized check out https://diasporafoundation.org/ and also steemit. Good goy. They want you to think that you have some control over search results, because it keeps you coming back, but the fact is that Joogle employees adjust them behind the scenes to fit their own predominantly left-wing ideology.

Opera, Vivaldi and Brave are all Chromium based just like chrome is, so it's an easy switch if you like chrome.
>>
>>136669248
Brave is a broken version of the open source parts of Chrome though. I'm hoping he can get it working better but it hasn't improved much since I last checked it out.

>>136668760
I use Startpage and ixquick for my searches. Startpage is a Google proxy search (same results as Google but Google doesn't get your info) and ixquick is the same company's own search engine (think it's at least a partial aggregate search though). They claim to be privacy focused. Duckduckgo has a lot of conspiracies surrounding them so I avoid it.

That said, using a VPN is always a good idea and having your browser clear most/all info when you close it is a good idea as well due to the fact that so many programs and websites access your cookies. It's a minor inconvenience when you're used to your stuff being saved but it's easy to get used to honestly. I don't even notice it anymore after a couple years. In this regard Firefox has been best in giving the user full control of this kind of stuff and that's why I still use it despite the bullshit surrounding the company.
>>
>>136672478
Bitchute, but you're right none of them compare to jewtube, at least not yet. If we use them they will improve. You have to be willing to live without some features for a while and lean a new platform but I think these services will beat out joogle in the future. We all need to get involved and get people to switch by inviting friends.

What's broken about Brave? been using it for a couple months, no problem.

Coming from Firefox, I 'm actually loving it. Takes a bit of time to customize, but easier than the firefox alternatives I tried first.

Of course I knew better than to ever tie myself to chrome in the first place, so can't comment on the migration from that spyware.

Idk it doesn't seem to run right. Lots of broken behavior. That said, I'm used to Firefox and I hate how Chrome works with a passion so maybe it being based on Chromium is ultimately why I don't like it and it just feels more broken than it actually is.

I won't count on that

The discussion didn't anywhere. But I personally noticed something wierd in one search I was doing from both my home computer and my phone on the same network (same outbound IP) in a very short period. I was searching the address of a restaurant first on the computer through startpage. Then on the phone on google map I was trying to search for it again. The google map page immediately suggested the address I search on the computer even though I have only entered 3 of the 4 digits of the street number. That is highly unlikely to be a coincidence to me. That's how I became aware of this issue. Although I have not tested it anymore thoroughly again. I just assumed that these proxy at the very least pass on location information or the IP. Because when you think about it why would Google allow these types of services to exist.

Go to google, search for mesothelioma lawyers, structured annuity settlements, stuff like that, click on the ads. It could cost them $1000 per click. It drives a wedge between google and its customers, the advertisers using AdWords.

I don't know if it's just that I'm searching for weirder stuff or what, but it just seems that I get 5 unique results including links that probably paid Google to show up and a lot of crap that isn't even close. Get Orbot and Orfox apps for android smartphones. On PC's use firefox or chromium. As for search engines, duck duck go is good and I've been testing yandex recently which seems ok too. Also if anyone has it, post the image with full guide on how to anonymize to max firefox based browsers.
>>
>>136669638
I've been running brave for several months now. I really like it. The add-ons are limited but they're improving. It automatically has ad blocking. And even disables all flashplayers (but you can right click and allow them if needed. Sometimes downloading files with the blocks on causes issues with the extension of the files. I keep Firefox as a backup.

I search with startpage. Which isn't all that good. But you can search sites annoynmously. Brave has an option to where you can type :y in the field for yahoo or :g for Google before your search, so it's very utilitarian.

The key here is open source as the code-base is visible to all and thus it's harder really to hide anything that tracks the user in anyway to such software. As for browsers Firefox, brave and Tor Browser at least claim that they're open source. But id say it's a lot more important to actually avoid registering and logging in to services because it'll make you a lot easier to track even if you change computers.

Browser add-ons like uBlock, Disconnect, Ghostery and the like help to block ads and other trackers from web-pages.
Blockstack Browser (based on block-chain) also seems like interesting project, however it's still in it's very early stages.

For Email provider I'd go with something fully encrypted like Tutanota or Protonmail which will also block any images from emails which are used to track whether you've opened the mail or not. Both also support end to end encrypted messages.

Then there's VPN which is a lot faster way to securely browse internet but you should pick the provider with great care (I'd avoid US based ones like a plague as there are a lot of countries with way more strict privacy laws.)

Also a book recommendation:

Microsoft Edge is fast as fuck. It's not Internet Explorer - that's buried deep in windows computers now. I use it with Bing rewards and get gift cards for searches every blue moon.

Here's a few things I like about Edge:

-smooth scrollingmakes the page seem light as a feather, makes it feel very responsive and fast, and is really awesome on laptops. It's the most pleasurable scrolling experience out of my browsers. Seriously - there is a very noticeable difference here and it's what made me open up to it.

-book mode: focus on text and eliminate peripheral distractions (turns the whole page into e-reader style), not the most important thing but creative

-if you have way too many tabs open and it's cluttered, you can click a button and it scoots them all into a storage space on the left and you can access/restore them later

-highlight anything --> right click --> ask porntana --> she pulls up an info box on the right that defines or wikipedias or price compares, etc. Easier than a whole separate tab search

-integrated nicely with your bing account for getting points with their incentive program via your browsing habits (have to abandon duckduckgo tho)

-it's just all round fast - use it with ghostery and it's even faster

Is Vivaldi compromised?
>>
Hello anons.
As you know, Google is owned by a parent company, Alphabet.
Alphabet is an global conglomerate that has permeated every industry from technology, to intelligence, to biotechnology.

This company is evil.

This quarter, their profit has risen nearly 30% on strong ad sales to a high of $5.43 billion dollars.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-alphabet-results-idUSKBN17T2ZZ

So how do we erase 5.43 billion dollars in profit?

Companies that advertise with google pay an average of $1 to Google every time a Google user clicks an ad on the search results page.
http://www.wordstream.com/blog/ws/2015/05/21/how-much-does-adwords-cost

The answer is counterintuitive.
We cannot attack Google directly. Instead we must shake any confidence that Google's advertising clients have in the
authenticity of Google's advertising infrastructure.
We must create fake ad clicks.

So many fake ad clicks that the modest ammount of income generated by those clicks is lost in a sea of cancelled advertising contracts.

If we are effective, Google will see a short-term rise in profit before a long-term crash as the confidence of their clients is undermined.

Koala.jpg
763KB, 1024x768px
>>136713972

To generate ad clicks, do the following:

Install Adnauseam
https://adnauseam.io/
Adnauseam automatically clicks any ad (in the background--you never see the ad or the page it tries to load) on any site you visit.
Each click costs one of Google's advertising clients money.

Install Auto Refresh or something similar:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/auto-refresh/ifooldnmmcmlbdennkpdnlnbgbmfalko?hl=en-US
Auto refresh will automatically refresh any page you are on (therefore reloading any ads on that page) at some interval that you specify (a few seconds is good).

Go to one of your favorite websites that is known to advertise using Google Adsense (most websites with ads).
Enable Adnauseam and Auto Refresh. You are now farming ad clicks in the background. (you can open other tabs/windows, etc without any problems)
Make sure to set the refresh interval to be long enough that Adnauseam can click all the ads (a few seconds is good).
The website you enjoy will start seeing a massive influx of ad revenue (they get a large percentage ~68% of the revenue from each ad click, the rest goes to Google).
Meanwhile, Google's clients will be paying out the ass for hundreds of thousands of fraudulent ad clicks.

This will gain publicity and hinder investor confidence in Google.
This will infuriate companies that advertise with Google. Would you spend hundreds of thousands a year advertising with a company that couldn't insure the validity of the ad-views and ad-clicks they claim they are getting you?
Companies will stop advertising with Google.

Google will lose.

>Email received from UKIP today

Why UKIP must take the lead in shaming Google
Some of you may have noticed a news item yesterday about a Google employee – a Harvard-educated software engineer named James D’Amore – who has been fired for publishing a 10-page memo questioning the company’s diversity policies (link below).
D’Amore’s sin was not, according to the company, expressing a view. It was not being anti-diversity: he makes clear in the memo that he is pro diversity and wants to see it done more effectively. His sin was to use as evidence the idea that men and women have different traits.
He describes these traits in ways which make clear the positives about women and the negatives about men – perhaps even in a rather biased way (biased towards women).
But the very fact that he has suggested that the disparity in representation of women and men in software engineering may be something to do with the differences between men and women, got him fired.
To paraphrase Google CEO Sunder Pichai’s take on Voltaire: ‘I disapprove what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it. You’re fired.’
In fact, the whole thrust of D’Amore’s thesis was that it was a political bias to the left and against conservatism within Google that was the problem, and was making people with divergent views feel ‘unsafe’ within the company. Google fired him for saying it, apparently having no sense of irony whatsoever.

Read the memo here: https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3914586/Googles-Ideological-Echo-Chamber.pdf
I think you will agree with me that any organisation that can fire a man for writing this – and whose mission is to obtain, organise, control and sell ‘the world’s information’ – represents exactly the chilling, illiberal, authoritarian oppression that we were founded to oppose.
Voltaire also said: ‘Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities’.
I believe that every UKIP member should boycott Google, and encourage everyone else they know to do the same. There is evil abroad, masquerading as virtue. We must fight it.

Yes, it most likely will. A lot of these clicks will be identified as fake.
But toward our case, this is even better. Your case is exactly what we want to happen on a larger scale. We want Clients who advertise with Google to get notifications like the one you did.
We want Google's clients to be mad. It doesn't matter if that's because their money is going toward fake clicks or because most of the clicks Google helps get them are shown to be fraudulent.
We want Google's clients to be mad.We want Google to have to come to its customers--its BIG customers--with reports that say "Hey, sorry guys, it looks like your ad with us was clicked 6,000,000 times, but 5,989,940 of those clicks were fake.
This will annihilate client confidence in Google.

>Brave Browser
>derivative of Google's chromium
>developed by the creator of privacy-killing Javascript
>Publicly stated that they intend to sell and share your data once they reach 7 million users

Once Brave has 7+ million users, the company will use your browsing history and share industry-standard ad categories with publishers. Armed with this data, they'll be able to place appropriate ads. Is it still invasive? Sure, to an extent. But Brave is hoping users will be able to look past that and is even planning to offer a small financial incentive to do so.

Fuck off.

The CEO's plan is to lure in users by making claims of "privacy", and then he fully intends to use that user base as a marketing ploy to sell clicks back to advertisers. Brave is a scam.

>Anything is better than Chrome.

You are an imbecile. Yes, anything is better than Chrome. Chromium is a Chrome derivative. If you want to disconnect from Google, you do not use a Chrome derivative like Chromium or Brave. You use Firefox or its derivatives, and you strip out everything Google-tracker related from it. Firefox gives you that ability. Chrome and Chromium do not.

For sharing links any way, hooktube isn't a youtube replacement in the sense that you'd actively browse it for entertainment. There is no "related videos" section, just trending ones.

sure, but its really not hard to set up a script to have your browser go through a playlist on hooktube instead of youtube, considering you only have to edit /watch[url] instead of the whole link
