What's weird about North Korea is that if they wanted, they could build their entire country around asymmetric warfare and defense and they'd be borderline impossible to conquer it due to the sheer amount of tunnels and complexes and mobilized militias that could hold up and attrite an invading force. That's how China built their military for the most part, in preparation for a decentralized peoples war should they get invaded by the US or something.

Instead North Korea built themselves up on the basis of offensive power projection despite having NOTHING to back it up really. They honestly and legitimately think they're capable of defeating the world and are only putting it off out of sympathy for their ethnic countrymen in the south.

As they stand their entire country could be steamrolled quicker than Iraq was. Plus there's a chance they've been stockpiling more missiles than we think which gives them larger initial strike capability than you'd think, but that's only a possibility. Worst case scenario for them is that they have like 2 non-working shitrockets that explode within their airspace and a US false flag initiates carpet bombing of the entire country with B1s.
