Not likely. We rely more on air superiority than we did in the past. We also have so many soldiers currently that the military can afford to be picky and up their standards. My brother has charges of armed robbery and assault so he was unable to join the army. If this occurred I am sure they would change their mind about him. He is just one of many cases like this who could turn their lives around with service. I a looking forward to this war, I may join the navy in their Commissioned Officer Training.

The military wouldn't even consider the draft due to the fact any invasion would mostly consist of South Korean troops spearheaded by the US troops that are already present. This will be after weeks of bombing raids and artillery barrages that would cause wide spread panic and shell shock among Nork soldier similar to what happened to the Iraqis in the first golf war. The Norks would also suffer from low morale when the realize that their enemy is superior to them in every way imaginable which will lead desertion when the truth starts to slowly dawn on them. The only way the Norks have a chance at staying a sovereign nation is if China steps in on their behalf which is unlikely considering that China has more to lose if they help the Norks then they gain.
