Are you fucking kidding me,BBC? Taking ancient greek mythology and turning greek heroes and gods into black ones? What happened to “cultural appropriation”? Oh, I forgot: it’s ok when black actors play as white characters. If you really embraced “diversity”, then you would hire greek actors for this TV series. But noooo: “diversity” applies only for certain groups of people.

As a greek I am generally tolerable and open to how ancient greek mythology is treated in media. This is why I love movies like 300, this is why I liked Disney’s Hercules despite its flaws (it still had stuff that won me like the musicals and Hades, one of the best Disney villains), this is why I am ok with silly, goofy tv shows like Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (it was guilty please)…But shit like that is a different matter.

Fuck your fake diversity! Fuck your forced political agendas! Fuck you BBC!
