Red pill me on tipping /pol/
Is it really beneficial to the economy or is it just a way for employers to shift the cost?
Employees are responsible for negotiating their own wages while considering what the expect to get in tips
Tipping is voluntary and should be entirely based on how much you want to give them like a gift, not a scale based on what the check cost
Uppity waitresses are some of the most entitled whiny people in this country
It's a way for businesses to lower the price on the bill while still making you pay the same amount

lol, have you actually worked in a restaurant? If you can't afford to leave a shitty tip just stay at home and cook.

Have you WORKED in the BACK of a restaurant? Because anyone out front is simply walking and listening in an air conditioned space.
Try 12 hours in a hot kitchen on a 90F day for 2/3rds their pay because of tips.

Tips are pooled with the kitchen. Now scram Canada, the big boys are talking.
Restaurants with tipping have better service than ones without. Since increased wages to compensate for the loss of tips would result in customers paying the same total amount anyway, there's no good reason to get rid of it.
Tipping is like giving niggers holding will work for food signs Money

To the equivalent of MAYBE 100 bucks per cook every 2 weeks, as opposed to servers 100-200 PER NIGHT.
