Ok /pol/, I need some input. I know it's looked down on for a woman to be single, childless, and pushing 40. What about men? A little bit of a story

I asked and Jon told me he invested in a lot of tech companies back in the early 90s and sold off all his stock. Used it as capital. Built from there and became a landlord. And the only reason he is still working is because he's on year 28 out of the 30 required to start earning a pension from the company, so fuck it. Why not? Why is everyone so negative? Jealousy? I don't get it.

As far as I can see, Jon did good for himself and is enjoying the fruits of his labor. I understand jealousy. I'm jealous of what he has and would love to be able to make it for myself too. But this constant hounding if him is ridiculous. The fat, balding, miserable married men at my job all talk shit about him too. Not when he's around of course. Wtf is wrong with people now?
