I've read about the self authoring program being useful for boosting a students grades, but does it have any value for professionals who finished studying years ago?
I'm 52 and I did it informally.
It helped remind me of what I wanted when I was young. Now I'm a skydiver... I almost forgot I wanted to be one.

interesting, I'm 31 and currently in career limbo, so I figured it might help me sort myself out

Peterson has said quite a few times that it was designed to help people of all ages. Any adult can do it and should get good results.
The research has been done most extensively on university students, which is why he talks about the boosting of the grades because its empirical evidence that it helps. But it's technically for people of all ages. It's psychological intervention on the individual level. There's nothing wrong with doing it age 30, 50, hell even an old retired cunt could do it and probably see the benefits.

Give it a whirl.
It helped jog my brain. I feel like a 30 year old with the resources of a boomer. Got my bench up to 225 last week.
