He seems pretty stiff. He's doing his usual colber schtick, but obviously without the rightwing spoof, but it comes off really stiff, despite that he should he comfortable in that setup. He seems like he has to project quite a bit, so maybe the stage setup is a little too big? Also, either he's getting old or gaining weight. Regardless this feels like just a watered down version of his old stuff. Like the kingsford habit joke was telegraphed too much, he waited too long, everything feels off. A big issue for a comedian. Are the censors neutering him? Or is the staff talent gap bigger that deep compared to his old show? Terrible. That sidekick needs to be thrown out immediately.

This is the only thing I've seen from him outside of two scoops on late night, so forgive me if this is all long standing obvious criticism.
