Do any Americans still believe that America brings freedom and democracy?

Well I mean we do bring democracy.
Just because it doesn't turn out all pretty and perfect doesn't make it not exist.

We bring stability to a world clamoring to be run by psychopaths. We've historically opposed regime and nations pushing for communism but have allowed a few to show the disaster that thry are.
In the end, the American empire primarily protects its economic and security interests through sabotage and intervention. If we didn't, the US would have collapsed long ago and the world would have proliferated nuclear weapons everywhere. God knows what a mess that would have looked like

It is better to be feared than to be loved.

Is the idea still enshrined in American patriotism? I just want to know how the average American regards their foreign policy
America was not involved in the brazilian military government, unlike what the left told you. It is proven that the USSR had a program to try to blame the US for the coup, and it worked...

mostly trying to limit the spread of Communism, so American intervention is overall pretty good. The Americans abandoned China to the Commies and 100 million people were destroyed in that meat grinder. When they left South Vietnam unsupported the Communists killed hundreds of thousands of people and chased about a million more away. Like for fux sake look at the difference between the part of Korea the Americans managed to save and the part that fell to Communism.
