Saudi Arabia or the Emirates aren't innocent, but you have to be pretty naive to think Qatar's Al Jazeera isn't just pro Islamist propaganda. They've been supporting every Islamist movement during the Arab spring, from the Brotherhood to Hamas. They want the middle east to become a theocracy like Iran. Atleast with the Kingdoms, the west can control them. But with an Iranian style islamist governments, it'll be difficult to subdue them.

This may seem like a good thing for the democracy fags, but Arabs are incapable of ruling themselves via representative democracy and most Arab countries have some long standing grievances with their neighbours, and within their country, their rival tribes. Unlike in Iran where most ethnic groups have quite good or neutral relations, in most Arab countries, you have a significant proportion of the population who hates the ruling tribe, sect or other marginalised groups, and would probably try to commit genocide against them if it weren't for their US puppet monarchs who hold most of the power . If democracy were to be implemented in the middle east, we would have a regional civil war which would make Syria look like a kids party. Qatar is betting on this, since they'd profit the most from more regional instability. Funnily enough, Qatar isn't a rep theocracy themselves yet they're promoting it in other Arab countries. Democracy will only lead to genocide and more wars in the middle east.
