He does fall into the "genetic diversity = species" trap, though.

Like... "all humans have more in common genetically than x-animal species (gray wolf, etc) with x-difference of genetic material therefor people can't be separate species" while ignoring the fact that "species" themselves are a hotly debated categorical thing and not set to any specific genetic criteria.

Hinduism and European religion originate from the same religion and people (the proto-Indo-Europeans/Aryans). Hinduism is the brother rather than the father. Hamingja and karma share origins in in the same idea for example, but they morphed in a way that was specific to each people's sense of spirituality. I've read that Germanic urd/wyrd and Mediterranean fate are also related to karma but I understand that less clearly.
