Transitioning is not about finding your "true" gender. It is escapism -- an attempt to bring order to a life that is out if control. You can't control how people hate your shit personality, so you adopt a new personality and literally FORCE others to accept your "new" self.

No wonder suicide rate is not only above 40% for trans people -- suicide does not decline after transition. Gender transition is merely a poor substitution for suicide.
