Hey /Pol/, what do you think about a war between Italy and Russia?

Without nukes, Italy and Russia would be pretty evenly matched as Italian tech is far greater, while Russia's numbers would make up for it. Italy would need to heavily industrialize and mass produce/import combat systems (Tanks, AFVs, Jets etc) to keep up in the long run. The side that chooses defense would ultimately prevail on land. Italy would certainly win any naval war. Russia would likely have an advantage in the air unless Italy has a massive buildup as their air power is lacking. Russia's vast tank/AFV advantage would be almost useless in Italian territory, while any Italian invasion of Russia would see a vast disparady in terms of armored formations. If nukes, Russia would destroy, and that's why Russia is considered a threat by the west, as they are weak in convential warfare.
