Just read The Last President by Ingersoll Lockwood. The coincidences are amazing. Meme magic is real.
- So, in the U.S. there is a rise of socialists and they try to storm the fifth avenue hotel (Trump Tower). It also describes how the rich corrupt interests throw everything they got into fighting him, but their efforts are in vain. The new president promises to be a president of all people, but the people have never been more divided. It takes him some time to choose his cabinet and some people are surprised that he hasn't chosen Tillman (aka Chris Christie). He immediately starts signing executive orders, basically negating previous legislation, that were destroying the country. He is supported by governors of some cities and some oppose him. His speeches eerily resemble Trump's. Also, the North (Democrats) constantly try to obstruct his legislation and threaten with succession. The president wants to help all the people and has good intentions at heart.
- There are a lot of other things that right now are escaping my mind, but overall, what do you think?

how does it end? What happens to the president? Is he successful?

It's complicated. The legislation, while with good intentions, back fires. But, overall, I think it has a good end, kind of. It's complicated. Find it in PDF and read it for yourself. It takes like an hour only
Also to mention: after the president chooses his cabinet, a lot of people notice that he has chosen corporate people. Some people even begin to speculate that he has sold out to the money interests. - Remember when Trump chose his cabinet and everybody thought he has sold out?
