Why is this commonly said on the left and the right like it means something? Money and politics go hand in hand. If you are rich and successful, why shouldn't you have more influence on politics just like you have in social life and economics? Why should a billionaire business man, who contributes hundreds of millions of tax dollars, creates jobs, and stimulates the economy not have a bigger say in the government over some unemployed nigress on welfare?
