If someone were to tell you 20 years ago that Donald Trump, of all people, would be our president, would you have believed them?

20 years ago, he was WAY more respectable and interesting than he was 5 or even 10 years ago.
20 years ago, everyone wasn't on the internet and no one really so much about Trump or his history.
So yeah, I might have believed him.
If someone were to tell you 28 years ago that an acolyte of a Weatherman terrorist would be your president, would you have believed them?

>i buy everything the media says about him because theres no way he is actually the same guy who's been the target of the biggest character assassination in history.

The only reason I wouldn't is because I didn't believe in time travelers or clairvoyance not because I found the idea inconceivable.

Possibly. If there was a word that came to mind for him at the time, it would have been "rich" or "tycoon." I would have surmised that the man could simply self-fund his election for a billion dollars.
The other things I knew about him then were that he had some major ex-wife issues all over the tabloids and shows like Entertainment Tonight and Hard Copy, along with a personality straight out of Glengarry Glen Ross. So on the other hand, I would have thought he would be too controversial for public office.
