" Why men should do more housework
Women earn about 11% less in wages than men because of the extra time they spend on housework, according to a Bloomberg report citing numbers from the National Bureau for Economic Research. Some women shy away from jobs in fields that require long workweeks, knowing they won't have the time. All of this may seem pretty intuitive, but here's the news: If labor were instead allocated in a gender-neutral way, welfare would increase and output per hour would climb by 5.4% as people made better use of their time, given their skills. ● What about your house? How do you split the chores? If you could save more time, what would you do with it? Would you spend it at your paid job, or at a higher-paying job? Share your thoughts using the #MensWork" - LinkdIn
