Why are people pushing the STEM meme? Everyone knows politicians and companies are trying to undercut salaries with this propaganda. Engineer salaries are actually falling
Biz is the most redpilled profession as its outsourcing(((them))) proof unlike engineering than can be done by pajeets

>STEM can be done by pajeets
The reason they flock over here is because they fool employers with their high GPA, not knowing how ridiculously easy it is to graduate from an Indian university
They're trying to take over accounting as well, but they're stuck in entry-level positions because it's harder for them to get a CPA than burgers

Engineering (compsci, chem, civil, etc) drive wealth and have since the first tools were fashioned. So STEM gets pushed to generate more wealth. Whether they get paid well is another story.
There's also little risk to this strategy, as traps exist of engineers who would try to use knowledge to disrupt institutions of power.
Smart people exist, might as well encourage them do something other than shitpost all day...

I dont think recent startup culture generates that much wealth as some notable examples are in heaps of debt. I could easily be wrong but these new software/tech startups seem limited and not that revulotionary biotech and nuclear aside
