I recently wisited my family. Aunts, uncles and cusins. My uncle in particular is far passed the stage of brainwashed.

Has no understand of the internet, blames social media for every problem ever. He is not open to new information at all.

Only reads established papers and watches state media.
Believes the world will end because we lack some tertiary mineral. Sees everthing from a pessimistic perspective.

In a conversation I got so fed up listening to him, I said that he might as well load a shotgun and get it over with.

But no, hes got early retirement so he will stick around to put his grandchildren further into debt.
