as someone who lived in the Soviet union, I prefer it a lot over the capitalism bullshit in germany.
especially for young people it's better, education, social activities, universities, everything was free, if you were good at something, you were able to do it. you could go from a poor son of a farmer to the first man in space.
Germany doesn't work that way at all, america probably even worse. no money, no connections, no success.
