these images of pompous journalists outside the New York times made me think of something I'd like to see in a video format. a world where a certain segment of the population went around lying about people they don't like just in their daily lives by holding up pompous signs using defamation and journalist style false headlines printed on them. scenes with people like in the photo but they're in a restaurant and they don't like the waiter's attitude for no reason so they write up and hold a sign 'This is NOT Normal' 'this restaurant is in Turmoil' 'was russia involved' strutting around the restaurant to all the patrons. sort of like Heroes except their special powers are different variations of journalistic fake news headlinebait tactics. the story arcs could always end with the journalist superheroes being headhunted by news organizations to more impactfully channel their gift to the world.
