Look at this fucking picture. Look at it. Just like today. If early 30's and late 20's really were like todays world is, then all the historians were piss poor at descriping that time. Even my own dad that i consider a great history teacher, pretty poorly descriped how the cultural climate really was and in what kind of world facism took over. I realize now that he was looking at that world trough 70's boomer lenses and really couldn't imagine what was going on because the time of his youth was completely different.

Studying Weimar was a real eye opener to me. Our parents weren't taught shit about that period of time and how it's decadence directly led to the rise of Hitler. I can only hope that history will repeat itself and our modern age of decadence will end as well.
