That's pretty common, the problem is that wartime necessities made it difficult to nail down the specifics of economic policy for these models. Of course, part of the point of such systems are their versatility when responding to situational needs. I think the more clearly defined philosophical and social goals of national socialism make it the superior choice. Your economic concerns would likely be assuaged in a peacetime nazi society.

In all social aspects I definitely support the National Socialist approach. Mussolini was basically a civic chauvinist to say the least. Back to the subject though, from what I've read, even in pre-war Germany the economy seemed like it was controlled by the government, rather than well regulated. I know that it wasnt "socialist" in the ways we know socialism to be now, but it was still very leftist.

You need a lot more than just "a state" as well, you need the people and those people need to show a lot of commitment/kinship to each other, compitence and skills desires to engage in creating a service or market with comaprative advantage. You need a philosophical/religious root and you need the shade to build this into a respectable and historied structure away from those that want to fracture it open to the global capitalist 1% or foreign states.
The media and a mass of fools can just break this down. Call it an enemy under whatever pretext. Especially if built with white people. That is why they attack whites as a deflection. A remittance state. You also need to point out the history of WHY you are a state and the importance of this to convey to children. Destiny and purpose.

The employment situation as you mentioned, the leisure and tourism plan for workers, civil construction projects, etc. Also keep in mind how they were far less eager to nationalize industries compared to Mussolini, though that again was driven by wartime concerns. In the end, a general focus on the preservation and advancement of the folk, combined with seeking economic autarky, make national socialism the ideal for scultping a society, responding to threats both foreign and domestic, and handling economic issues with strength and care.

I think if you embrace the order of nature, and love your own people, that's a path forward. If you reject Communism whilst also rejecting the decadence of capitalism that's also a path forward.
