It will weigh about as much as an American m240, our heavier man-portable machine gun. So I am saying that since the weapon is about as heavy as a man-portable rifle gets in the modern world, the person in the webm is holding it over his center of mass and close to his body instead of leaning into it because otherwise the weapon would sway heavily and he couldn't aim properly, which is more important than being braced for the recoil.

I'm still paying to go to the gym at my Uni. The price isn't bad but getting there takes far too long so I was thinking about getting a rack, an adjustable bench, an oly bar and some weights, and some dumbbells. Do you think that would be very expensive?

I thought the best way to increase strength was to do relatively few reps. Weighted push ups do seem like a good replacement compound movement if you don't have a bench but why don't you just increase the weight and do fewer reps?

to be fair I can't do that yet but I think we could probably argue back and forth about this all night. Next time you have the chance to go to the range, shoot about 30 rounds at a torso sized target from 250 meters and you'll either be right or see what I mean.
