"The case, Commonwealth v. Michelle Carter, involved many text messages, emails, and phone calls between Carter and Roy at the time of Roy's death, in which Carter encouraged Roy to commit suicide. Carter had initially discouraged Roy and advised him to become an inpatient at the psychiatric hospital where she had found help. Roy had seen numerous mental health professionals and insisted he wanted to die. They had both been prescribed psychiatric medication."
How can anyone read that quote and think they she did anything wrong, morally as well as legally? All she did was try to help him. We're all hoping she gets no real time at the sentencing tomorrow right?
She did seem a bit too forceful in trying to get the guy to kill himself
I don't think she's mentally healthy

Is this the bitch that asked "did you delete your messages?" after the guy killed himself?

>what is intent
>what is negligence

She started telling him to kill himself because he said it was the only way for him to be happy, he convinced her of that for months. But it was still what he wanted, one time after she began telling him to kill himself, she even still said if he doesn't want to do it she can get him help. He chose the kill himself option.

She broke no laws, the judges ruling made no sense.

I'm surprised the leniency of the justice system on females hasn't come into play here. Isn't that technically assisted suicide?
