Hello, /pol/, I'm a Brazilian faggot who lived in the U.S. on an academic scholarship for years, but decided to be true to myself, stop living as an immigrant, help my own country and celebrate my own culture. Lot's of respect for my American co-workers and friends, no doubt, but I had to leave immediately after I realized that I was not good for America and America was not good for me.

Most international students in the U.S. are impenetrable nigger/asian bubbles that have insectoid behavior among themselves. They find their respective hives in the numerous cultural ghettos in the U.S. and marry the ones who have citizenship to continue the cycle.

My international professors/co-workers are a fucking cultural mess. Their actual wives, brought over after they finally got their citizenship, gave birth to American children that have nothing do to with them culturally; kids that will never understand them and will see their parents as unrelatable scum forever.

It took me 4 years of college to fully understand that reality and accept that was waiting for me after OPT. I came to the U.S. with a dream, a strive for happiness and freedom, but understood that can't be obtained if you keep living as an outcast, surrounded by freaks who have also given up on their native culture and found satisfaction living in small tribes on foreign land.

I felt happier and happier, as the plane flew closer to my home town. I reunited with my beloved family and friends. After being away for 4 years, it never felt so good to be among people who looked like me, who spoke my language, who were NATIVE to my country.

I believe the escapism that made me leave my country in the first place was just a reflection of my adolescent desires. I started undergraduate school all over again, at age 23, and it has never felt so good to go to class. I get paid 10 times less in my current part time job as a teacher, but now my money can be spent here in Brazil, with my loved ones, where I TRULY belong.
