i'm surprised there's not more of a shitstorm here over the youtube changes that rolled out today.

Youtube was always fairly censorship heavy, but this shit is crazy. The guidelines they put out essentially say if someone considers your video "hate speech" it'll be flagged, demonetized, taken down and your account locked, and people searching for any keywords related to your video will be redirected to a safe-space playlist that trys to teach them to not be so darn racist.

What we need to fight censorship is a meta video website where you can search within ALL the video hosting websites, Youtube, DailyMotion, Vid.me, LiveLeak, etc. etc. instead of going directly to Youtube.
