From aprior post, I mentioned that I won a FOIA Appeal in a records request case against the DC Metropolitan Police Department. This would have allowed all anonymous requestors to request documents without revealing their identity.

MPD appealed the appeal decision. They thought they were going to take me down to china town by claiming that Federal FOIA requires unanonymous requests. I looked up several similar cases and found key differences which undermined their argument. They said, I didn't have standing to make an appeal in court. Ha, it was an administrative appeal...not a court appeal.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I prevailed in the appeal to the appeal. So, once again, there is room now for anyone anywhere to anonymous request any non-exempt record AND appeal a witholding decision AND appeal an agency appeal. (Incidentally, I argued that DC agencies do not have any legal basis to file an appeal since the statute does not carve out this possibility. I still think I'm right about that but since I won my case, no need to get too huffy puffy about it.)

What I'm trying to say is the reporter that broke the news is on tape as saying that Wheeler would get credit for a bunch of shit he didn't say and when the story broke the sourcing about the FBI having the computer and the ties to wikileaks was attributed to Wheeler even though Butowsky got that shit from Hersh before he ever even fucking met Wheeler.

The information from Hersh was laundered into the story using Wheeler as a cover. That act is completely nonsensical if everything about the story is on the up and up given that Hersh is a well respected journo.

Generally you falsely attribute something to someone to give it more authority, not less. This creates 3 options for me though admittedly it could be none of them.

Option A: Fox was deliberately making the story seem less credible in order to tank it, which given context clues we know is completely unrealistic
Option B: Hersh fed Butowsky information he later learned was bullshit and Butowsky and Zimmerman decided they wanted to still use the information for political purposes even after they learned that so they used Hersh as a false source to push the story since he'd be willing to go along with the narrative for a paycheck and Zimmerman needed a source. Since Hersh fed them the same bullshit due to his own fuck up, he wouldn't fight the story as long as it wasn't attributed to him, since at best all he could push back against the story would be to claim he heard exactly the same shit but no longer viewed the source as reliable.
Option C: Hersh feared for either his personal safety or professional privacy and didn't want the sourcing connected to him. I'd expect the guy that exposed the fucking My Lai massacre to give zero fucks on this front.

Even if it isn't any of these, the fact remains that the act itself makes no god damn sense. It doesn't fit, which makes the whole story stink.
