There is a couple, a man and a woman. They are boyfriend a girlfriend. Let's call the man John and his girlfriend Jennifer.
John and Jennifer have been together for 5 years and have two beautiful kids together, though they are not married. Everything was great between John and Jennifer until Jennifer got pregnant with their first child. Jennifer has hyperemesis gravidarum. This caused her to have no energy to do anything because she could not eat food. She was hospitalized several times for dehydration.
John was supportive throughout this entire ordeal and the same thing happened with their next child. After the second child, Jennifer became lazy and no longer cleaned the house, no longer cooked dinner every night. John worked 40 hours a week and came home to a dirty house without a home cooked meal most nights. Jennifer did not work.
John and Jennifer fought about this many times but nothing ever got resolved. Each argument would end up with both of them degrading each other and making excuses. John stopped being attracted to Jennifer, the sex slowed to once a month and they stopped communicating. All attempts to repair the relationship have failed so John started to look elsewhere for greener pastures.
Is it better for John to stay in a loveless, passionless relationship, miserable and depressed for the sake of the kids? Or would it be better if they split up?
Keep in mind that if they do split up, Jennifer would get primary custody of the kids and John would get raped for child support since women are entitled to both in the biased, corrupt US family court.

Yet she's unable to run a household, as a result of a famous "woman disorder". In France the judicial mediation would take 5 mn.
