Does anyone know what the basic deal is with socialist/anti-capitalist economists? Do they have any vaguely interesting propositions, or is it all just a fancier version of muh evil capitalism?
I'm friendly with a pair of university economists, mother and father of my daughter's best friend. They have a big poster of frigging Che in their livingroom. I've avoided conversation with them about it for years because a) I'm not well versed in economic analysis and/or theory, and b) I don't want to alienate them for my daughter's sake. But it always makes my scratch my head...and want to scratch my balls.
A britbong and a poo, by the way. Nice people, cute kids. I don't get it.
