Nah, that was mostly a bluff.
When providers start going out of business or stop issuing policies in certain areas, and those people HAVE to pay fines for coverage they CAN'T buy, who knows?
One thing's for sure the media will either 1. ignore and deny it, or 2. blame it on Trump and Republicans. Will it work? we'll see.

toss in biden, dems had 60 in the senate.

republican vote didn't matter at all. their vote was worthless. they had no control and couldn't even be opposition. there was nothing they could do. the house and senate was filibuster proof. UNLESS, of course, a DEMOCRAT DIDN'T want to play nice with THEIR party.

universal healthcare FAILED because they couldn't even get DEMOCRAT support for it in the fucking HOUSE. it was the evil republicans putting bad thoughts into their heads either. cause again, the republicans had jack shit control or influence. the democrats could have done anything they wanted.
