Hey lads, met this immigrant from Romania yesterday when I was out walking around downtown. I live in Northwest Indiana. We had a great conversation, although his accent was heavy, we talked about politics in Europe and life in eastern europe.

He mentioned going to Spain and saying how the people there were tall and not short like roaches. I didn't want to reveal my powerlevel, so I asked him what he meant by this, and he told me that roaches were Turkish people, kek.

I told him my family was from Kiev in Ukraine, and that's when he shared his vodka with me. Apparently he was carrying around 3 bottles of the stuff, and he shared it even though I am 19. I was worried that he might be a sex trafficker, as those are becoming more prevalent in my area, but my fears were abated.

He was one of the most conversational and friendly people I've met honestly, superceding many others I've attempted to talk to in my area. Are immigrants, at least from Europe, really all that bad?

Usually I get sidelong glances, but a few people strike up conversation, and we usually talk about metaphysical topics like quantum immortality or the law of attraction.
