Chemical company BASF is developing a satellite for use in harvesting chemical occurrences in outer space. It will be the first of its' kind in that it will be used not only for scientific but also for commercial purposes. Space harvesting, essentially.
The manned mission will be set to launch by 2023 at the earliest.
It will be staffed by 4 people, 2 men and 2 women.
The satellite contains a metal chamber as living quarters.
Water is available on board, ranging from -18 to 0 degrees.
