No, these roles are intertwined into our entire constitution. What people don't realize is that no laws were appealed dismissed, no powers were (officially) taken away from the monarch since 1688 and 1707, and theoretically the powers to dissolve parliament and pass law (the main two) still exist but the precedent in law has demoted the monarchs powers to an entirely ceremonial position where all her roles are fulfilled by ministers or governor generals abroad. This is a major dilemma because, like I said before, without the Queen holding that position, parliament is given free reign and is made essentially absolute - which has been the case for centuries now, but has only shown its self as the massive dilemma it is since the outbreak of World War 1.

This country needs a true conservative party to arise. I've taken a particular interest in National conservatism and High Toryism recently, the latter being a homebred ideology. It has a certain appeal and if it is does not brand its self as Toryism, it could certainly appeal to that working class Labour/UKIP vote.

Most importantly,

3. All declarations of war are absolutely dependent on the monarch with no intervention from any public assembly.
4. The power to dissolve an incompetent parliament, fire a Prime Minister, recall an election, OR if required, assume absolute power.

The last time this occurred was in Australia in 1975 when the Queen's Governor General fired the Prime Minister in response to a government shut down - so the power very much still exists, but it is does entirely by ministers of the crown with no input that is not ceremonial from the queen.
