Anyone else afraid of what this country and the world will be

I've actually wondered this as well. Working for a retail mega-corp I see millenials being promoted to management positions, but they never seem equipped for the role. They continue to gossip and try to befriend everybody there, even in a managerial role, whereas the older managers know how to separate their work from their private lives which makes them a lot more respectable. I prefer working under the people that just tell me what to do and expect me to get it done while they deal with their own shit, which creates a smooth flow for the business, rather than a manager that's going to pull me aside just to gossip like it's high school and then neither of us get our shit done and it creates problems for everybody.
