Jordan namedropped John Taylor Gatto who I've been promoting here for years now, he wrote great books about the fucked up education system in the west (based on the Prussian system), his books are free online if you do a quick search.

I'll dump a handful of my JBP memes in the meantime.

Thanks for the bump friend.
I really need to buy my little brother a login for the Self-Authoring program, then find a way to get him to do it. Maybe bribe him. He just graduated high school and he's already drifting down a bad path of low conscientiousness and community college.

I love this image because it reminds me of the Maps of Meaning game idea I was kicking around in a thread half a year ago.

Thanks for the bump man. I think this is actually even better than Molymeme's first talk with JBP since they're covering more topics and current JBP projects than just going over the metaphysics of Maps of Meaning.

Also the list of SJW college courses is only 1 month from dropping, according to this video. We should see it sometime in August depending on when this was filmed.

The Joe Rogan interviews are a great launching point if you're not big on Stefan Molyneux.

If you're interested in his courses the order is Psychology and its Transformations, then Maps of Meaning. He also has a great book Maps of Meaning that goes into way more detail.

The Self-Authoring program is a tool for sorting yourself out, it costs money but it's very worth it.

Yeah, he was curious why schools hadn't already cottoned on to the stuff he'd figured out with his Self Authoring experiments and during his investigations he ran into John Taylor Gatto. He gave a quick rundown and Molyneux pointed out that his books are available online, specifically calling out "Weapons of Mass Instruction".

Thanks for the links, will watch.

prepare the pen and paper, they literally reference hundreds of things. it focuses on the origin of modern education and how the globalists have set everything up. so many "redpilled" people don't have a clue about any of that stuff. i'm gonna post his books in a couple of minutes, there are pdfs on the internet.
dude was a school teacher all his life (worker both with poor nigs and in rich elite schools) and he basically wrote books how modern education is a scam and how to fix it. it's mind blowing stuff.

Oh absolutely. Bill Clinton took one of his courses, I believe at Harvard, and mentioned him by name during a speech, I think when he declared he was running for President. >>
>>135579706
The best part about Gatto is everything is meticulously cited and sourced, so you can take his arguments and use them as they are without any need for further research unless you want to.

Don't let your intelligence make you hubristic. Pride goeth before a fall. If you want to be humbled read anything by NN Taleb.

To supplement what >>135577893 has said, the American elite-tooled the Prussian ethic to create the modern American public school system, while the Ivy League-Anglo Pragmatists created a master morality based on Calvinism, Darwinism, and the Will-to-Power that is effectively the rebirth of the old Norse ethos. They use this 'moralenfrei' approach to justify the subjugation of the masses.

Today 1 in 4 children under the age of 18 — a total of about 17.2 million — are being raised without a father4 and almost half 40% live below the poverty line.5

4 U.S. Census Bureau – Table C2.
Household Relationship and Living Arrangements of Children Under 18 Years, by Age and Sex: 2016
5 U.S. Census Bureau – Table C8.
Poverty Status, Food Stamp Receipt, and Public Assistance for Children Under 18 Years by Selected Characteristics: 2016.

These are just current numbers and don't take into account victims of divorce in the previous 3 decades. Mothers get custody in almost all cases of divorce leading to the children being raised without a father.

First, he's GenX not Boomer. He was a young adult in the 80s-90s, not 60s-70s. The only liberal position I've seen him advocate for was freedom of speech, which I as an anti-Liberal wholeheartedly agree with.
>>
>>135582632
He's probably the single most knowledgeable person on the planet, ever, about randomness and how it works. He also invented/discovered the concept of anti-fragility which is a major leap in understanding of how randomness affects systems, which is remarkable considering that people have been thinking about randomness for a bloody long time.

I actually found him in one of my Anthropology textbooks (required class) three years ago, when it cited Maps of Meaning as an important text. He is one of the last great generalist thinkers, most of these guys have progressively died out in the 20th century (Jung being foremost among them).

>We play tag for 3 days, always during recess and when they tell me to stop I do so, smile say thank you.
>4th day we play for no more than 3 minutes

>I'm completely confused, ignore then and go lay in the grass until recess is over
>get called to the principal's office
>police officer is standing next to the principal with a hand on his hip (maybe it was his gun, I don't remember)

>completely petrified for the next few days
>see those same girls giggling at me as I lay alone in the grass trying to figure out what the fuck I did wrong.
I know it was their malice and girls being total Bitches but I can't help but to keep thinking of that and of another time where I lay on the grass and some fat bitch (friends with the girls) spit on me. I went to the principal and she didn't even put them on Saturday school or anything. No punishment. I felt completely victimized. I was lucky I didn't become an edgy emo kid during high school.

What's more he unironically said in the interview with Tara conservatives should drop their in-group preference to ally with the muslims, because they share the same values.

This is one of the many horrendous examples why I dislike Peterson. He has no clue about our struggle at all. He neither understands it fully, nor did he understand the generational switch. He is good for the alt light, but certainly not for ethno-nationalists.

For anyone who really enjoys Peterson and Jung you need to take the final green pill and go down the esoteric route.

Start with Manly P Hall The Secret Teachings of all Ages, then start reading Morals and Dogma to get a look into Freemasonry. After that start looking in astrotheology, alchemy, and hermeticism.

>>135583850
You need to understand The Shadow. Not everyone has your best interests in mind and some ARE malicious and out to abuse you if they can get away with it. The solution is to figure out how to recognize that malice and figure out how to be in the world where you're not vulnerable to that kind of abuse. That's particularly difficult with female abusers in the west, since they have the state 100% on their side. Go look up some MGTOW stuff, JUST to find out how to avoid being abused by a woman, but leave most of the women hating stuff there. You don't want to close yourself off to all opportunities for meaningful relationships with women, just learn how to avoid the bear traps.

Sounds like this was mildly traumatic because it didn't fit at all with your expectations about the motivations of other people. How do you play games, i.e. how do cooperate with others in a social setting? What struck me is how you never did anything to defend yourself. Being in front of the principal gives you a chance for a (semi-fair) hearing. Part of the reason why the girl didn't get punished for spitting on you is because you weren't hanging out with friends who could back up your story, and in fact that's why you were targeted. Because you were alone in the grass, an easy target. You instead respond by turning inward, questioning if you did anything wrong, when you should be looking for ways to improve your position in society. That's how you play the game.

Anti-antisemite: Antisemitic speech is against the law in Canada. He could be summoned in front of a Social Justice Tribune (kek). He reads Dostoyevsky, Solzhenitsyn, Jung, and Nietzsche ALL OF WHOM are Antisemitic (Nietzsche is a contrarian, he still recognized the infernal nature of Jews).

I understand the nihilistic dark side that lays inside the MGTOW community. It's stupid to hate all women but then again it's very very easy to do so, they give you lots of reasons to.

How would you start your journey into discovering your shadow? I'm in the National Guard, I believe if it came down to it I could shoot someone dead if my life or the life of others depended on it, I think I have what it would take to kill, but then, so did Raskolnikov in crime and punishment (haven't read it yet). How would I go about finding my own shadow? I don't care if it takes me to the deepest depts of hell, I've been there before.

Burger, it is a direct, word by word quote. Deny and twist it all you want. It also fits perfectly well into all his rhetoric about the "identity politics trap the left is building for the right" and "anti-semitism is an absolutely detestable conviction to hold", etc., etc.

If you are some alt light civ nat and worship him for what he is: alright. But quite frankly: your cognitive dissonance with peterson becomes as tiresome as that with Trumpenstein. Of whom so many here believe he was working against the tribe. And how he would call them out and prepare the fourth Reich. People unironically said that shit here for months! >It is a frightening thought that man also has a shadow side to him, consisting not just of little weaknesses- and foibles, but of a positively demonic dynamism. The individual seldom knows anything of this; to him, as an individual, it is incredible that he should ever in any circumstances go beyond himself. But let these harmless creatures form a mass, and there emerges a raging monster; and each individual is only one tiny cell in the monster’s body, so that for better or worse he must accompany it on its bloody rampages and even assist it to the utmost. Having a dark suspicion of these grim possibilities, man turns a blind eye to the shadow-side of human nature. Blindly he strives against the salutary dogma of original sin, which is yet so prodigiously true. Yes, he even hesitates to admit the conflict of which he is so painfully aware.

I would suggest you start reading Jung, he is terribly important. Find a pdf of Archetypes and go from there. I would argue that it will also be helpful if you become symbol literate. You can look into various esoteric traditions as they all go down the same path.

Peterson talks about confronting your shadow when you know how horrible a person you really are and he is right. Good Luck

I'm probably not totally uncucked, IMO. There's always a next step to take.

But there were 2 un-cucking factors, 2 that started out separate and ended up synergizing. One was experiencing those painful IRL lessons. The second was my own casual studies, where I have gobbled down anything I could about biology and the rest of the natural sciences. It's the same way for me. Think of small talk as a way of sharpening up your conversation skills. There are some people who live and breathe intellectual thought, and it's stifling to grow up around others who don't understand that. Find the right people for it. Getting a degree is a great way of developing this.

>How do I improve my position in society. I've noticed lately after countless hours of JBP lectures that I have a problem trusting myself and my own decisions, I doubt myself. You improve your position in society by becoming skilled at something that others value. This could be anything from gun design (get a degree in firearm engineering, I don't know), teaching, writing, computers, whatever.
Part of what helps for me is asceticism. Cutting out things from your life that you don't need, that distract you, will help you to purify your mind and allows you to focus on what you know you need to do. If you are sure that what you are doing is the sole task which requires your attention, then there is absolutely no reason to doubt yourself. Act out of will, not fear or desire.
>>
>>135587003
You definitely need to get yourself some friends mate. The army shrink was right. Join a volunteer group through a church or something and get some structured interaction with people into place.

>Im not stupid, I'm just not sure of what I know.
On this topic in particular there are two things you can do:
1. Repeat back in your own words what they want you to do. This ensures that you're both on the same page and it'll help your memory because you've said it in your own words, you'll remember it both abstractly and with the muscle memory of having moved your mouth to say the words.
2. Get a notebook and write down your assignments once you've confirmed everything verbally. This will back up your memory and then you can refer back to it when you become self-conscious and doubt yourself.
>>
>>135587331
If you think about it, Maps of Meaning coheres to the ideology of intersectionality. That reality isn't some objective 'thing' sitting in front of you, but array at multiple levels of structured action which conditions human action and thought. However the conclusions postmodernists draw from this is completely opposite from Jordan's, to say the least.
>>
>>135587911
It goes back to the Protestant Revolution in Europe. A big part of it was throwing away the concept of Hell and acting like everyone was assured of Salvation, regardless of what they did, as long as they had faith in Christ. All well and good but when you reject Hell and Satan you throw away the archetypal symbols for evil and failure and malevolence. So how do you deal with that? Back then it led to witch hunts and superstition. Secular Historians have actually shown this through good research.

It's only gotten worse with the hedonism and anti-spirituality pushed by globalists and postmodern neo-marxists: everyone is a saint and nobody's responsible for anything bad they do, it's all society's fault!
>>
>>135587911
We want order but we don't want to put in the work. An ordered and free society is only ever going to develop if people have control of themselves, if they complete the process of individuation. This is the lesson of Christ that Peterson talks about in relation to the Jews. They try to export that order to government. If humanity externalizes everything to government we will only get chaos.

Work retail for any length of time and you will see it. No one wants to accept responsibility, everything is the fault of someone else. You are correct it is depressing and is almost enough to make one turn to the dark. To accept that the individual can't govern themselves and its better to be on the side of the master and benefit. Almost

It's actually the complete opposite. The Protestants threw away the Totems of Catholicism, but kept the Taboo.

>The Reformation abolished the whole bright and consoling side of the Gothic myth — the cult of Mary, the veneration of the saints, the relics, the pilgrimages, the mass. But the myth of devildom and witchcraft remained, for it was the embodiment and cause of the inner torture, and now that torture at last rose to its supreme horror.
>Baptism was, for Luther at least, an exor- cism, the veritable sacrament of devilbanning. There grew up a large, purely Protestant literature about the Devil. Out of the Gothic wealth of colour, there remained black; of its arts, music, in particular organ-music. But in the place of the mythic light-world, whose helpful nearness the faith of the common people could not, after all, forgo, there rose again out of long- buried depths an element of ancient German myth. It came so stealthily that even to-day its true significance is not yet realized.
>The expressions "folk- tale" and "popular custom" are inadequate: it is a true Myth that inheres in the firm belief in dwarfs, bogies, nixies, house-sprites, and sweeping clouds of the disembodied, and a true Cult that is seen in the rites, offerings, and conjurings that are still practised with a pious awe.
>In Germany, at any rate, the Saga took the place, unperceived, of the Mary-myth: Mary was now called Frau Holde, and where once the saints had stood, appeared the faithful Eckart. In the English people what arose was something that has long been designated "Bible-fetishism" and the struggle for sea-supremacy.

Oh, anon. The Calvinists in particular (and by proxy the Anglicans) were particularly pessimistic. The vast majority of human beings were pre-destined to go to Hell, which was beginning to take shape as what it is today: eternal torture in hellfire, influenced by Dante of course. Nothing fuzzy-wuzzy about early Protestantism anon, I don't know where you're getting this notion. No one believe everyone was getting saved: they actually thought the vast majority, including a plurality-to-majority of Protestants, were going to Hell. You might be confusing it with Naturalism, which (in complete contrast) espoused the idea that there was nothing intrinsic separating man from God.

It just seems like an absurd proposition to me. Protestantism didn't throw away Hell and Satan, if anything they enhanced its importance. Martin Luther was intensely fearful of damnation by a Nominalist God who knew no boundaries and could save a person one day and damn him the next. In contrast the sunny south had its Mother Mary, saints, festivals, idols, and rosaries, which removed angst form the mind of the believer.

“For more than a week I was close to the gates of death and hell. I trembled in all my members. Christ was wholly lost. I was shaken by desperation and blasphemy of God.” -Martin Luther

>>135595393
That was Luther's conception of it, but I think you are misunderstanding it. He got rid of the Catholic idea of "salvation through faith and good works" because the "good works" part implies that human beings have some means of influencing the will of God. This stems from the limited, rational God of Aristotelianism. Luther was a Nominalist and believed God was truly unlimited, all-powerful, and all-knowing, thus utterly transcendent. This means that human beings could not possibly hope to make their own destiny and that the only means left of securing salvation is faith in the will of God. Of course God could decide to damn you one day or save you the next, and this fostered a severe sense of insecurity for Lutherans and the Puritans, and in many ways engendered the sense of all-encompassing skepticism which would lead to Cartesian naturalism and hence modern thought. If you would like to know more I would recommend "The Theological Origins of Modernity" by Michael Allen Gillespie:

Nothing he says in this video is anything that I would disagree with. It is one thing to not hold any resentment against Jews, and another to completely refuse to recognize group identity as anything other than a socio-linguistic construct. Overcoming the latter is far, far harder than the former. Most people would rather not even recognize that there is a problem. Acknowledging the role of average IQ in Ashkenazi Jews causing a difference in outcomes is logically equivalent to recognizing the same for blacks, Asians, and so on.

>While darwin only observed micro evolution, Darwinian evolution refers to macro evolution, as in The "Origin" of Species.
Macroevolution refers to the process of speciation, or how one population differentiates into many. He does not hypothesize as to how life itself came about. Abiogenesis focuses on minute chemical process, while Darwinism explores only the interactions of organisms struggling to survive and perpetuate in an environment of competition for scarce resources. Completely different levels of analysis.

You notice how modern people are weak, stupid, incoherent and unable to take responsibility even to have kids? That was planned a long time ago, it is extended childhood, something that the Fabian Society socialists together with industrialists planned to make the population weak and easily controlled.

Same with stuffing boys with speed to kill their ability to function, and the post-modern hedonism.

When I see faggotry such as this piece of writing I always wonder what exactly it is you are projecting when you accuse us of "worshipping" people like Trump, Moleneux, or Peterson. What do you worship? Judging by the smugness of your writing, I would have to guess it's the propaganda you're spoon fed. Don't know where you get yours but it could be from your universities, or media that tells you are the good guy because you follow what they tell you no matter what. I bet you think you're this free thinker because you don't listen to what any figure tells you, but you're wrong kid, you're very wrong. Just because there's no one centralized person telling you what to think doesn't mean that no one is out to control your mind. Trust me, man. They are. And from the looks of it, they are successful.

>No i haven't. Quick rundown?
It's too complex for me to offer a quick summary. Fortunately it's only an essay, 84 pages. It discusses the relation between the Prussian ethos and the English national character as manifestations of ethical Socialism (which he defines in a broad, non-Marxian, civilization sense) and the mutual bipolar tension between these forms of Socialism in a dialectical sense.

The essay presents the maritime, "viking," thalassocratic Socialism of the Anglo-American elite against the Prussian, martial, bureaucratic, and tellurocratic form of socialism which manifested as a geopolitical conflict between a land power (Germany) and sea power (England) during the First World War. Implied in this text is that the later conflict between the United States (sea) and Soviet Union (land) is a continuation of this conflict. In this sense it parallels the conflict between the Apollonian and Dionysian in Classical culture, manifested as war between Sparta (land) and Athens (sea), as well as Rome (land) and Carthage (sea). Socialism in this sense is the resolution of this dialectic into a universal doctrine whose imperative is the creation of a World State, just as the Roman Imperium resolved out of the conflict between the Hellenistic powers. Some interesting stuff.

https://archive.nevadajournal.com/nj98/05/prussian.htm

As Governor of Massachusetts, Everett had to deal with the problem of the influx of poor Irish Catholics into his state. In 1852, with the support of Horace Mann, another strong advocate of the Prussian model, Everett made the decision to adopt the Prussian system of education in Massachusetts. Unfortunately for the children and poor Irish Catholics of Massachusetts and elsewhere, the system produced a willing, cheap labor force with minimal reading and numbers skills. The Everetts of the world understood that people who could read and understand are dangerous because they are intellectually equipped to find out things for themselves, thus becoming a threat to already established power elites.

The history of American education since the acceptance of the Prussian system is checkered with failure and elitism. From the time of John Dewey, who felt people should be defined by groups and associations and who believed that people who were well read were dangerous, to our own era, U.S. education has suffered. We have in this day and age the disheartening statistics showing 33 percent or our nation’s college graduates can’t read or calculate well enough to perform the jobs they seek.

Working against the concepts and principles the Founding Fathers provided in the Constitution, the Prussian system has produced a gradual but statistically provable decline in literacy and intellectual capability of typical Americans. We can track the five different stages that American education has gone through: 1750-1852—The idea of government controlled schools was conceived; 1852-1900—It was politically debated in state legislatures; 1900-1920—We had government controlled industrialized factory modeled schooling; 1920-1960—Schools changed from being academically focused to becoming socialized; and 1960 to the Present—Schools became psychological experimental labs.

That's the funny thing: of all his enemies, Hitler chose to be the most merciful to what was really his main nemesis, England, because he recognized them as their racial brethren. And there is a lot of truth to this: the Saxons who went west formed Anglo-Saxon England, the Saxons who went east formed Prussia (via the Saxon Marches, Brandenburg, and the Ostsiedlung). The two forms of Socialism, that of finance-capital and of technocratic-bureaucracy, were the expression of a single ethnic type. Yet he chose to strike Stalin's Russia, who under the banner of "Socialism in One Country" were most closely aligned in mentality to the Germans.

Spengler pointed out how Classical Greco-Roman civilization and Gothic-modern Western civilization are metaphysical opposites. In the former, the bounded is valued over the unbounded, vice versa for the second. Rome triumphed over Carthage in the former, but Atlanticist sea power triumphed over Eurasian land power in the latter. I think think was pre-ordained from the start, and simply needed to work itself out dialectically: there is an inner consistency to the principle behind viking voyages, Iberian exploration, English colonialism, and space travel.

Why does he sound so deeply tragic every damn time? Unhappy person can't teach/show you joy of living, he can teach you about burden and suffering, internal conflict, barely bearable complexity, who needs it? Suffering is everywhere anyway.

(of course he's illuminating, awesome and clever, and so on)
>>
>>135625115
Happiness derives from 'happenstance', meaning 'fleeting'. Suffering is a constant. You need a positive motive to redeem that suffering, or else why even bother. As an aside, the word tragedy derives from "tragos", meaning both 'goat skin' and 'song' in ancient Greek. The Greek actors would wear goat skins when imitating satyrs on the stage, the satyr of course being half-man and half-beast. The idea being, the tragedy enacted on the stage is a horrible thing to behold, but it sings a song of bliss. As long as you hold onto that element, then the suffering is worth it to endure. Catharsis was a medicinal term the Greeks gave to this experience, somewhat similar to the idea of Nirvana in Buddhism.

most shocking point here is about constant suffering. It can be true for people who experience mental illness, but in general it's damn wrong if you're talking about suffering as an emotional state(unless you're living in GULAG). It might be certain discomfort, okay, something is a bit painful.

If there's meaning, why would you suffer? As long as you understand that the meaning is present, you do not suffer, and it's the state of mind to live in.
(So winning strategy is to assume by default, that events of your life make sense, but JP somehow looks like he's in pain. Why be in pain if you have a purpose? There's something wrong taught, if you believe in meaningfullness, pain goes away)

In Buddhism, the first of the four noble truths is "all life is suffering." It's the most obvious fact you could imagine. As you are sitting here you are gradually approaching death. Sit there too long and you will naturally slide into phases of agony called thirst, pain, and hunger. It takes a monumental effort to hold that at bay. And much of this effort involves inflicting death or suffering on other forms of life. You can generalize it into the principle of entropy, as the entire Universe is decaying towards heat death. It's the void that existentialists refer to. You can try to fill that void with food, drugs, sex, video games, but the void is formless and without limit. Only the highest (i.e.) transcendent value can fill it. Hence the feminine-masculine pairings you often see in mythologies, because filling the void is an act of creation.

>If there's meaning, why would you suffer? As long as you understand that the meaning is present, you do not suffer, and it's the state of mind to live in.
That's the meaning of Tristan and Isolde. The two lovers drink a love potion, illegally committing adultery, punishable by death. So the nurse tells Tristan "you have drunk your death." Tristan responds by saying, “If by my death you mean this agony of love, that is my life. If by my death you mean the punishment that we arc to suffer if discovered, which is namely execution, I accept that. But if by my death you mean eternal punishment in the fires of hell,” in which these people believed, “I accept that, too.” That is the power of meaning. Look at the fucking word: 'to suffer' derives etymology from Latin "sufferre", meaning 'to bear from below'.
>>
>>135629241
from some perspective life can be called constant suffering, or constant joy, but as soon as we're talikng about emotions(at least I started fom that), we have to be concrete.

do you suffer right now?
to be precise, if you could describe your emotional state in one word now, will it be "suffering"?
>>
>>135630519
To feel anything is to suffer. The word "passion" means 'to suffer'. To love something is to imply hatred towards the opposite. Language is inherently dualistic, and since thought is effectively language, consciousness is bound up in fear and desire. The word suffering encapsulates this entire process, not merely one side of it. Suffering is not an emotional state. You can enjoy suffering and that's called masochism, or feel resentful about it, or despair.

Kant and the German Idealists (Fichte, Hegel, Schelling, etc) are largely responsible for creating the Prussian ethic, which as others pointed out, forms the basic doctrine of the education system throughout the West. The focus on civil service, militarism, obedience to authority, trust in institutions, efficiency, imperialism, basically everything stereotypically German, finds its basis in German Idealist thought.

Exactly. Plato's Cave isn't even PHIL101. Try reading Kant, it's fucking excruciating. Ever consider Greek geometry? A 7-year-old can get a handle on Euclidean geometry with ease. Contrast that with graph theory, or Riemannean geometry (used in Einsteinian relativity). And I don't think it's because we're more advanced than them either, it's our orientation. The Greeks valued the finite and things close to their senses. Meanwhile we are always looking over the next hill or transgressing the next boundary.

Interesting that he rejected his teacher of the year award to shit on the school system. I was a student of the 2013 teacher of the year. He taught us shitty electron shell theory. That whole school district was ranked in the bottom 10% of WA state.

Guy was a multicultural wierdo. Made us watch him shake his butt to that "On the Catwalk" song during the morning announcements. Pretty sure our class Stacy was sucking his dick for her grades. Too much pedo shit at that school to even type out. I think the whole school was some kind of psychological experiment or test run for Common Core style curriculum. He worked on the team that developed something to due with Prozac and shilled for it in class to the kids.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Avr3u8XI6es

http://eagnews.org/ever-wonder-why-so-many-teachers-of-the-year-support-common-core-heres-why/

But the Teachers of the Year have a dirty little Common Core secret. They are not exactly the non-partisan, objective teachers advocating for their profession to the public at large that they profess to be.

The Teacher of the Year program is actually a project of the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), which authored the Common Core Standards and holds their copyright. The Common Core chooses the Teacher of the Year. In the interest of full disclosure shouldn’t these Teachers of the Year disclose that they were spawned from the Common Core each time they star in pro-Common Core commercials, write pro-Common Core op-eds, and lobby legislatures across the country in support of the Common Core? They never do.

Current National Teacher of the Year, Jeff Charbonneau of Washington, is on paid sabbatical from his teaching obligations at the high school where he worked so that he may travel the country as a spokes-bot for the Common Core.

He was paid to fly all around the US in 2014 to promote common core. These people are fucking evil. In one of his speakes he talked down about the running start program(kids going to college early) in favor of AP credits in high school. Now you see common core loaded AP with all kinds of propaganda.

Pic related is a perfect example of modern textbook(Common Core) propaganda. Here you see them misword the second amendment. They leave some of the amendments out in the more detailed write up and only give you a condensed summary of all of them. It's mind melting, scrambled bullshit used to confuse and propagandize.

Despite the widespread public impression, felt every five years or so since World War II, that something “new” was happening in public school reform, education statistics tell a different story. They demonstrate very little change in student performance (and most measurable changes were downward). Here’s a brief report card on four decades of public education reform:

Many so-called education experts believe that class size—the ratio of students to teacher—must be reduced to improve learning. We’ve already tried it. From 1955 to 1991, the average pupil-teacher ratio in U.S. public schools dropped by 40 percent.

Annual expenditures per pupil in U.S. public schools exploded by about 350 percent in real dollars from 1950 ($1,189) to 1991 ($5,237). In only two years during this 40-year period did spending fall: 1980 and 1981. Spending grew by about a third in real terms from 1981 to 1991.

from 1950 to 1989 the ratio of instructional-staff salary to the average full-time salary in the U.S. increased by 22 percent (although it sank from 1972 to 1980). Student performance has hardly kept pace with the dramatic increases in resources devoted to public education. While the percentage of students aged 17 at the beginning of the school year who graduated from high school rose 30 percent from 1950 to 1964, it has leveled off since then. In fact, the 1991 percentage is lower than the 1969 peak of 77.1 percent.

Just five percent of 17-year-old high school students in 1988 could read well enough to understand and use information found in technical materials, literary essays, historical documents, and college-level texts. This percentage has been falling since 1971.

Average Scholastic Aptitude Test scores fell 41 points between 1972 and 1991. Scores for whites have dropped. And the number of kids scoring over 600 on the verbal part of the SAT has fallen by 37 percent since 1972,

The thing about awards like this or the Nobel etc is that part of the time they are given to actual accomplishment, to create credibility, and other times they are used as tools of propaganda to create credibility to bs arguments. (see: Common Core teachers, Paul Krugman, Milton Friedman as examples of propaganda.)

Fair enough, but the Jews were not the enemy. A few Jews, like the Rothchilds were, but mostly they were integrating and dissappearing.

Hell, without Hitler, the Jews in the western world would be gone, and Israel would be the one place that is Jewish. Holocaust is the reason the Jews are still afraid, why they work so hard to protect Israel, why they stick together and why they feel safer in multucultural, globalist countries, and try to turn Europe into that.

The problem is those elite are just as flawed and stupid as the rest of us. If anything their wealth and status make them even more detached from normal human experience and thus cultivate a deep inability towards addressing the issues of the people. It ultimately leads to some USSR style depravity wherein the elite, who after ensuring their own larders are well stocked and reside safely behind gated communities, completely ignore or deny the consequences of their social experiments on everyone else. It's a game where the party with the most power suffers none of the consequences for their repeated failures in governance.

If we could actually be ruled by an elite, in the true sense, the best stock of every generation tempered with an education in classic philosophy, reason, and humility in service, I would agree. Being ruled by such an elite would probably be great. But that isn't the "elite" we have. What we have are the spoiled lesser children of greater men. They spent their formative years telling servants what to do and rarely grow up to regard anyone else in society as anything other than some variation of that role.

That whole district was so retarded it crushed me. Made the one i transferred from feel like college in middle school. Jeffrey Charb would talk about seeking help for depression and taking prozac right there in class. Those fuckers ruin kids and then point them towards pills. That school district(Zillah) is renown in the area for pumping out drug addicts. The fact they gave him that award and thus granted shitloads of funding to Zillah makes my hair stand on end. Many of the teachers were totall retards that promoted hollywood movies as education, taught unscientific thinking in science class, and wasted 20-50% of the day droning on about local sports.

Multiple teachers were pedophiles. The ones that weren't would gladly warn us that we'd get detention for talking about the ones who'd been caught. They exposed us to asbestos in the auditorium and hired beaners to clean it out while classes were going. I walked in on them due to them not marking the area like they should.

They(Common Core promoters) saw Zillah was a great model to dumb down whites and get them to intermingle with spics. My last district was mostly white and it showed. We had advanced course where we learned electrical engineering and (what would later be highschool/college level) biology in middle school. The half spic one was completely mentally retarded. All the assigned reading was multiple grades behind the current one and many of the books were anti racist, anti free speech propaganda. We didn't get into my middle school science or engineering until 11th grade.

The Church Jeff Charb went to(pic related) was heavily involved in bringing beaners into the US. They built new housing for the violent ones in Buena after they fire bombed a police station. The church always wanted us to come down to Mexico on outings to learn about helping spics or something. One of the guest pastors was from Venezuela and shilled for Chavez socialism constantly.

Her facebook had a strange post around when she graduated talking about how weird it was that she just danced with her science teacher(Charb). It was typed like it was an uncomfortable event. I noticed she deleted that post, and all of her high school facebook shit, about a month or two after i first started posting about Charb online. Makes me think she was doing a little extra to get her grades. This would have happened a couple years before he received the award.

I agree, but I feel its more than that. There is something very specifically British about he atitudes towards the poor that some of these people have: that the poor should essentially be exterminated, rather than serve the rich, and that wealth determines social status (the word 'rich' is etymologically related to 'reich'). I think it stems back to the Norman conquest and the contempt/resentment felt from above and below seeped its way into the substructure of Anglo culture.
>>
>>135655210
That is part of it, but if you have ever read Acemoglu and Robinson or Peter Turchin, it becomes clear that once the elite is large and detached from the population, they start to compete with each other in destructive ways.

In more equal, functional societies the elites have to please the population to some extend, which means they have to invest in public goods like roads to enrich the entire society. Once the elites do not answer to masses they simply rob the state and to populus.

Turchin pointed out that when Early Republic Rome lost a battle, the senate lost half its members, while only a third of the army was destroyed. By late Republic, the senate was a bunch of thieves, who would dress up barbarians as legionaires for the inspections and pocket the money meant for equiping legions.

Whoopse, sorry man, I forgot to reply to you.

His psychology lectures kind of set the stage for Maps of Meaning, which if you read the book is really based on the scientific foundation that he finds in psychology. He later ties it to mythology and archetypes but all of that would be just noise if it wasn't based in the physical world at the level of neurological structures. JBP also recommends himself that Psychology should come before MoM.

Darwin was a shitty scientist. He wrote Descent of Man to justify the enslavement of the lower 95% of humanity by labeling them genetic dead ends. The Elite as we know them are simply a social club that is not afraid to sacrifice the majority publicly to maintain their power.

Marcus Aurelius talks about people of similar quality naturally agregating towards each other. I think all these imposed social restrictions and controls are really ham fisted and counter productive. Most were designed to enslave for profit rather than actually help mankind anyways.
>>
>>135658796
If you're going to be like that, then every person out there is full of snakes. But you still have to deal with them. You don't get to just swear off 51% of the population and have a meaningful and fulfilling life. Your biology simply won't allow it.
>>
>>135661938
You're resorting to the postmodern fallacy that "it's motivated by power, therefore it's corrupt and not true adn that's all it is," as well as what's called the Genealogical fallacy. I have seen similar deconstructions of Newton, that his ametaphysical physics was a development in mathematical terms of Hermetic philosophy (love-strife and a universal balance), which subsequently was used by Freemasons like Voltaire and Rousseau to argue for the usurpation of philosophy by science. That doesn't mean differential calculus is simply wrong by extension, that's fucking horseshit.

Evolution is completely random. Darwin's Descent of Man is complete horse shit by today's standards.
>>
>>135665998
>Evolution is completely random.
If by evolution you mean genetic variation, I might accept that. But evolution as a concept also encompasses selection, which is most assuredly not random.
>>
>>135666528
Yes that's true. Prussian education takes over that selection and artificially selects people based on obedience to the state propaganda. There are no people who are not evolving as Darwin said though. Everyone is evolving in one way or another.
>>
>>135665998
Evolution is by definition non-random because it selects a very narrow set of traits to pass on to the next generation. Darwin's original ideas bare little resemblance to modern evolutionary biology, but the basic principles of 1. accumulation of random mutations 2. the selecting of these mutations resulting in adaptation over time and the resulting differentiation of lifeforms into separate species has held up.
>>
>>135665998
>>135666528
Nah, if you google actual empirical studies, you will find that Lamarckian evolution isw the dominant force. Genes are nothing more than blueprints, and mostly irrelevant. You can even remove them from the cell and the cell just keeps on trucking for quite some time. At some point it needs the blue print and dies of course.
>>
>>135666894
His ideas about the lower ~90% of people being non-evolving, genetic dead ends do not hold up to modern science.

>>135666981
Doesn't the cell dying from lack of genes stop evolution? Isn't that proof of genetic evolution?

Again: what does that have to do with the validity of his theory? Newton presumed that space was a vacuum and gravity traveled instantly, that doesn't destroy his entire theory, it merely limits it is scope and predictive power. He also had all sorts of whacky ideas about alchemy and religion, which he spent most of his life working on.
>>
>>135574200
The inevitable endgame of postmodernist thought is something I've been deliberating and posting about for a while now, so seeing this video pop up is a happy coincidence. I think that the current orgy culture that we exist in is the final step before the nihilistic death cult that is already starting to emerge from the womb of postmodernism.

With the abandonment of meaning and introspection, the average person has to indulge excessively in pleasures in order to stave off existential dread. This exists in parallel with the postmodern idea of oppressor vs. oppressed, wherein an endless cycle of oppressed overthrowing their oppressors and becoming the new oppressors begins to heavily impact people. It's a dead-end, the only thing left is a constant cycle of suffering and conflict. This is mental agony for people to process, so they retreat to temporary pleasure, but once it dries up, all we have left are broken shells murmuring about the embrace of death.

Go read left-wing discussions of climate change if you want a preview of how this will play out. They have absolutely no hope, they genuinely believe that humanity will be extinct within the century and there is no way to stop it. Yet they are almost giddy about the idea, almost like a sort of cosmic "fuck you" to everybody they've ever disagreed with. To them, the end of everything is a welcome sight, it's freedom from the pain of being.

http://knowledgenuts.com/2013/10/09/charles-darwin-didnt-invent-the-idea-of-evolution/

As far back as Ancient Greece, people were looking to throw out the idea that man had always existed. Nearly 500 years before the birth of Jesus, the philosopher Anaximander proposed that man had “evolved” from an earlier creature—possibly a fish—which had in turn “evolved” from the natural elements. Aristotle later crapped all over this absurd idea, but it never vanished completely. Fast-forward to the Islamic Golden Age and we find ninth-century scholar al-Jahiz writing these words:

“Animals engage in a struggle for existence, and for resources, to avoid being eaten, and to breed . . . Environmental factors influence organisms to develop new characteristics to ensure survival, thus transforming them into new species. Animals that survive to breed can pass on their successful characteristics to their offspring.”

From a modern perspective, that’s about as close to describing evolution as you can get. A century later, Muhammad al-Nakhshabi would develop these ideas by claiming man “has sprung from sentient creatures.” But it wasn’t just the ancients who were working on evolution. Darwin’s own grandfather, Erasmus, once asked:

“Would it be too bold to imagine, that all warm-blooded animals have arisen from one living filament . . . possessing the faculty of continuing to improve by its own inherent activity, and of delivering down those improvements by generation to its posterity.”

By the time Charles finally discovered the hidden mechanisms of evolution, people as diverse as Immanuel Kant and Lamarck (whose flawed theory has since been proved true in the case of roundworms) had all taken shots at making evolution scientifically acceptable—a far cry from the wasteland of Creationist belief we commonly imagine Darwin working in.

Your first video mentions somthing that's always bothered me(at the 35:20 mark). John Taylor Gatto mentions that American football is designed to scramble your brain. I learned in college how easy it is to get head trauma. Probably why COmmon COre and Jeff Charb promoted AP classes over actaull college, so they could hide such facts from the kiddos.

The most human, newest parts of your brain are on the outer perimeter and right up against your sharp skull. Football, snowboarding over skiing, promoting helmet less skateboarding and bicycling as cool, anti-psychotics/depressants, and extreme sports are all pushed on the plebs to scramble their brains. Everyone i know who partook in these became a fucking airhead who could only sit back and take orders in between flapping their mouths about nothing or repeating some propaganda they'd hear earlier.
