Very few states require it, and most local districts don't care unless they HAVE to do something. Plus, economics class wasn't about personal finance, it was macro economics.

Mine had an economics class, but they didn't teach you about that stuff. Just about how the economy works without telling your role in it.

IL fag here. Went to a decent public school. Had a required economics course and another special economics course that taught us how we could use spare money to buy stocks, how to write checks, and how to pay bills.
