There are many, many fake WW2 german items in markets all across the country, the one I visited in Liviv had German soldier identity papers.
Take a close look at that helmet, that's in museum quality condition, not something your going to find in a street market, obvious fake.
On the other hand, the food and beer are outstanding in Ukraine. I never spent more than $7 on a three course meal and a beer. And if you like long legged blond chicks, get over there, now!
