For the past few years I haven't looked at the news too closely. It was never much of a concern for me. Political research and philosophy was my forte. So now that I would like to say more current with whats going on I once again ask where should i be getting my news from.

Honestly I watch the local news most weekday mornings while sipping coffee and browsing /pol/ on my phone (the first few hours of work are generally slow) and its rare for me to not notice a thread about a breaking news story at least a few minutes before seeing it on TV.
