Since social security is a burden on everyone and the government invented by (((boomers))) but people would lose their shit if they cut it and didn't get their taxes back, could we just make it so if you are born after a cutoff date like the start of the 2020 fiscal year for instance your SSN is tied to not paying social security and if you're ever charged it on your income you can claim it on your tax return but if you were born before that date you pay ss as normal and get it when you retire?

in theory yes, but that is conflating two massive government operations (IRS and SSA)
Aren't they already pretty much entangled seeing as your SSN is used as a government Id number for literally everything?
Social security is a fucking scam.
>take money from us for 50 years
>start giving back in small payments when we are almost dead

not the same thing as writing it off from taxes. this would be a lot less money going into the gov't and that would not be well received by the gov't
True but in the long run it would save money by not having to pay as well as disbanding the SSA and whatever other shit that goes along with it
