I'm a poor cunt (kids are expensive) who had to get all his wisdom teeth taken out, complications meant I couldn't get it done at a regular dentist. A public dental hospital told me there was about 6 month wait. Then realised that I couldn't even apply because I wasn't on the dole and earned too much money (lul wat?).

Went private, paid upfront, and I was in the operating theatre the next working day.

If I didn't have to pay so much tax, I could afford more shit without having to wait in pain.

obamacare did expand medicaid a little bit but the vast majority of new health insurance enrollees are people who do not want health insurance but were forced to buy it due to the individual mandate, which is why its so unpopular overall.
