I've drifted towards a level of sympathy for reaction, but only because I got sick years ago of reality-immune socialist dinosaurs still clinging to the label of "progressive" while being themselves the most regressive ideology around.
Socialist systems install tremendous discrepancies of power into the structure of society, and these become tremendous discrepancies of wealth.
Then they have the gall of blaming the rising inequality created by their interventions upon the "free market"!
Socialists would install themselves as the sole legal wielders of economic power, binding us all to their errors and robbing society to fund the luxuries of their elite.
If we can't react against that, what can we react against?
