What's up with all the communists in Spain?
I'm an Ausfag who is here on business (Valencia and Barcelona) and it's very difficult not to notice a large volume of communist propaganda plastered around the cities. Am I right in thinking that the separatists/nationalists in this part of Spain are also the far left?

The very second they think that they will fail to take control of the entire country, they will try to take advantage of separatism. Black nationalism in the US is a very good example of this, whereby the Communists in the US tried to establish a black nation within the US so that the USSR could threaten them if they were to try to take it back. It's as stupid as it sounds but it goes to show the mentality.
