Another bullshit, English were opposed to that, the French supported Polish case. tl;dr, Polish core and Polish majority areas were still under Germany. So uprisings happened. Greater Poland was won by Polish, Silesia was a little bit different case. And speak about illegal actions, when Germans for the sake of voting migrated 200k Germans to Silesia, and local Germans blackmailed Poles to vote for staying in Germany.
