Dunno, perhaps its because NZ is basically an australia noone cares about beyond oceania? If i know NZ for anything it's that a lot of students here want to do work and travel over there.

I live in the south island and are constantly bombared with the "all right?" campaign here. Even after 6 years from the earthquake my city still looks like shit and I guess that's why so many people are depressed here.

I wouldn't call us shit, more like terribly boring. We're nothing more than a pretty backyard for Europeans and Americans to visit and milk that Lord of the Rings Jew money. We're miles ahead of 80% of the rest of the world but we're so vanilla there's really nothing that interesting about us
