YouTube really is a political cesspool, but then again what isn't these days.

Your choices are over privileged white SJWs who focus more on tranny stuff than actual problems like the long term effects of housing discrimination, poverty, or drug abuse. Who make really grating videos that instantly turn off anyone who isn't already some sort of hyper left queer activist.

Or you have the reactionaries who seem to get their jollies off of being as offensive and belligerent as possible. Who churn out clickbaity anti-SJW hysteria every day, attacking the lowest possible hanging fruits. People who have built careers out of agitating their subscribers.

All the big names seem to fall in one of these two groups, and all of them are awful. Stefan Molyneux, Milo Stewart, Sargon of Fagquad, Davey Wavey, Ben Shapiro.

And of course the crypto fascists like Lauren Southern, Christopher Cantwell, That Guy T, Naked Ape.

Where's the center? Cato "classical liberal" shill Dave Rubin? Phillip DeFranco? The Young Turks are awful.

When I find a video where I see someone make some sense, I watch another where they declare themselves to be a "socialist" or a "libertarian fascist". What the fuck is up with all these snowflake ideologies?

It should be mocked, but all of these people have followers. I don't see much of this irl, maybe because of where I live/work or maybe it's something people save for when they're shitposting on the internet. I don't even know.

Cable News has always been bad of course, but it's quickly approaching this level as well. Talk Radio too. It feels like all the adults have left America and we're going to be dealing with reality TV tier politics for the next several decades. I have very little faith in humanity these days.
