Suffolk county where i live WOULD be ok, at least the eastern half - except for the fact that ZERO supplies would be getting to us. The only alternatives are airlifted supplies or by ferry - neither of which will help anyone except for those fortunate to live on the forks.

My only solace is that the pine barrens and surrounds areas are (relatively) sparsely populated in relation to the rest of the island, and that there is enough wildlife for people to forage and survive a year or two without starving.
